Purpose: Directory of twitter users

Website: www.search.twitter.com
Purpose: Search feature

Website: www.betterbusineshots.com
Purpose: photographers who can take social media shots ($99)

Website: www.box.net
Purpose: Free template design

Website: www.twitterpatterns.com
Purpose: provides a huge range of beautiful background designs—for free!

Website: www.twitter.com/badges
Purpose: Post tweets on a website. Select the kind of page on which you’d like to put your tweets.

Website: www.twitterrank.com
Purpose: a service that uses the number of incoming replies to give each Twitter a score that supposed to represent their popularity

Tweetlater lets you schedule your tweets in advance. I use this site to auto-reply to my followers.

Twitterific is a client that sits on a MAC desktop. It shows tweets from your followers and lets you tweet back in return.

Twhirl allows you to do many functions. You can send a twitpic as well as a tweet. I let it sit on my desktop. Easy application to use. Automatically shortens your URLs.

Twittermail lets you send an email using a special email address and places the posts on Twitter. Very cool.

Twitterfeed turns your blog posts into tweets automatically.

Twist helps you find people with similar interests as your own. It also keeps track of the popularity of various topics.

Twellow a kind of Yellow Pages of social media…the site tracks conversation on Twitter and places the twitterers behind them into various categories…click on the category—like Real estate—and you will see a suitable list of twitterers complete with sample tweet, bio, image and the # of followers. For twitterers looking for interesting people to follow, it’s a fantastic resource.

TweetBeep tells you who tends to talk about what, but you’ll also want to know who’s talking about your topics now.

TwitterCounter when you’re looking for people to follow—and when you want to know how you’re doing too—and that’s the rate of follower growth. Let’s you see anyone’s follower numbers over time.

TweetDeck. Allows you to group tweets and followers according to subject.
